Also some good news, the author Satou Suzu actually got serialized recently! They're working with another author, Maki Mimizu, on a manga called Skeleton Office (mangadex). It's a slapstick comedy about a normal human working in an office full of demi humans and learning about them together with his dragon girl superior. I will not be translating it because life is busy but I do encourage anyone reading this to as it's pretty funny.

I think the person who joined a tennis club for the sole purpose of getting gangbanged and even knowingly drank something that might've been spiked isn't exactly the mentally stable type

well, first, it is comedy effect, they probably just turn all black like Tom and Jerry, probably.

Second, it is too over the top, yes. But the overall intend is, it was the twist of the usual NTR scenario trope, turn the NTR boy to good guy, then "boyfriend" is the scum one. of course irl you need to judge different. but it is a writing piece, The whole she was dump so she go full slut arc, abandoned the "good girl" arc is very over the top it self and there are not mean to take serious. the author intend to portray boyfriend bad , MC realized that and moving on and find something else. He dump her because she is too "good girl" which mean he can't get sex from her after what seem like the next day, with the kouhai in same club as her. that detail is there for a reason. This is author say they ain't just become a thing only after he broke up with MC. again, don't need to take this too serious as irl.

As with all oneshots, we lack information to know if he deserves the resentment or not. It could be that he tried to raise the issue before and the MC was too locked in to pay attention and this was a break up in the making, on the other hand, it is also possible that he did not in fact break up before hooking up with the junior - and even if he did, if he onesidedly got mad at her and dumped her instead of communicating his issues, that's a him issue.

The author clearly intended for the reader to sympathize with the MC, given that she is the narrator and pov character and we get nothing about or from the guy besides immediately moving on to someone else who let him get his wick det. It's not some kind of unreasonable result for people to have the intended reaction and fill in the blanks following the narrative of the author.
