I would like to suggest a functionality to schedule an upload to be released in the future, perhaps 1 year max. This helps with uploaders that like to keep a regular upload schedule but may not be available to upload "in person" when they wish to.
The scheduled uploads yet to be released should be visible to the uploader only, for simplicity's sake. Users should be able to schedule an unlimited number of uploads, although if there should be a limit, a maximum of 10 scheduled uploads should be reasonable.
To use this function in the workflow, you would go through the upload process normally (filling out the details and uploading the pages on the upload page), but instead of clicking "Upload" to upload immediately, there would be a separate option to schedule the upload to be released later. For the UI, it can go in the upload page next to the existing upload buttons like this, and then perhaps a dialog box can pop up to confirm the future time and date of the release.

For a list of "Scheduled Uploads" made by the uploader, it can be accessed in the user menu like this:
