Kaede being too kind and demure for her own good is....well, kinda appropriate. She's always been admired and surrounded by both fans and people who crush on her, and she's still timid about dating Moko-chan and being "public" about it all.
I'd rather she have been more overt toward the kouhai who was hounding her, but Moko being the one to do it feels like the correct course of action. Especially since it shows how far she has come.

I'm not sure how we skipped seeing her response to that girls question from last chapter but ok. I mean she would have had to reject her then, so why did she mention rejecting her later in this chapter, as though both of them weren't there in the library at that time? Feels a little weird.

I'm glad someone was able to put this girl in her place at least. She knows Kaede has a girlfriend and is still hounding her openly. I'm sure she has an inkling that Moko is the girlfriend as well, yet still acts this way. That's not sweet or understandable. That's nasty behavior, and blushes don't cover that up.

I'd also hoped Kaede would join in on putting her foot down, though. It can't be that any girl can easily push her around especially after she's already said she's taken. Moko can't always be there. I'm assuming that'll come later; she did at least make things clear so that was nice. Good chapter.
