I just reread chapter 1, and yeah, this series started out with a lot of promise. The pilot had decent art and suggested that the ridiculous premise might be explored in a fairly clever fashion. Plus an unexpectedly cute roper-kun design.

But it soon turned into dogshit. The slime and hornet chapters have been witless, lazy and badly-drawn. I mean, I'm not backing down. I refuse to give up on something this delightfully based. But the drop in quality, she gives me pain.
