Wait so let me get this straight, the other world Kokoro didn't met the god and died in the village which indirectly made most of the evil spirits flocking in the village and thus their number is very thin in the city where Reina lived, which in turn made Hikaru's father didn't get possesed by one (I think her mother still left them?), thus Reina can live normally without needing to train as exorcist.

So Kokoro returning alive was what triggered the divergence of two world? That's pretty nasty, it would either Kokoro died or Hikaru died, wonder if a world where both are alive and being friend with Reina existed.

That is the Wheel of Karma, there has to be a balance somewhere.

Bet for both of them to be alive... some pretty heavy things would have needed to happen, wouldn't pass it to be Reina's death, and even if not that something equally heavy for the world.

It can't be always sunshine, there have to be cloudy days too, that is how life needs to be.

I'm surprised there wasn't a more heartfelt moment between Reina and Hikaru before she left, though I guess it's her style to not be stuck in the past.

Same. I take it was partly on her being such a massive tsundere and on not wanting to give away the fact that she died in her world. That would probably feel very uncomfortable as part of a goodbye

Because in "This man" arc, Reina comfronted the Hikaru guilty and now isnt a regreat

But she did tell that version Hikaru that she died in her world. Thank you for the chapter, though while this does explain what happened to Kokoro's memories and the seal on her it doesn't answer the mystery posed by the other world's god someone else used the power of the child of disaster to swap the Reina's are they saying it was the part of the god in the main world that's still connected to Kokoro or was it something else?
