yes, because the MC doesn't want to her to know that he knows; since he/the reader suspects she must be a bastard princess or something, which would be problematic if more people knew

Been a long time since ive touched something like PS, but if the art program allows the use of some form of layers, just add two layers of text on top of each other. Have the bottom text layer be a contrasting color to the background and shifted one or two pixels in relation to the top layer of text.

I also read the 18.5 and 18.6 which are LN-like extras and extra manga pages about how people in Noscula are doing after Maika and Ash left for the county capital. It seems that Ash's wave is still creating ripples like his mom finding resolve to resume her reading/writing/arithmetic studies (so she can write letters to Ash and help with his research a bit) or Quid learning. about how terrifying Ash can be after discovering that Ash can kill a bear by himself (and also knows when and how to use poison).

Anyway, from chapter 18, I still LOL that the "Arthur" we now have here is almost like the Artorias from the Fate series .
We all know she might form admiration and possibly romantic feelings towards Ash, but I hope that foreshadowing that it will be Ash+Maika in the future will be realised.
