A little comment on the TL. In the raws, on page 4 Ema says 精神体, not 魂 (soul). I feel like this is an important distinction to make in this type of supernatural setting, no? Tbh I don't know what the proper English translation would be either. Maybe "consciousness"?

Glasses-kun sounds fine. Anime/manga often have characters be referred to by a characteristic or nickname (such as Stripes-chan, Konbini-oneesan, G-san, etc), so Glasses-kun is fine here.

I wonder what the Japanese connotations of "faerie" are.

My concept from various western sources is humanoid, maybe tiny, maybe with wings, and then morality wise they are either extremely nice or some level of inclined to fuck with you.

Maybe they have rules and they fuck with you if you don't follow them, maybe they fuck with you for funsies, maybe they don't understand or care about human concerns so there are serious consequences for you.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what the best way to translate it was. In my head I broke it down into 精神 (mind, soul) + 体 (form / substance), so like if we imagine we had "physical" souls that can be separated from the body.

I think conciousness is a good term actually, although to my dumb brain it seems slightly different from the idea I just mentioned. This is all beyond me though. Wish I read your comment before uploading chapter 109 haha

Also soul is way shorter and can fit easier when typesetting LOL
