To be honest, that a sizable space between them. It almost seemed like they never really spoke, that they always avoided one another - and then out of the blue...

So it makes sense Mizuki can't just up and leap that gap right then and there - especially if she only saw an older sister (even if just a very aloof one) ever since that time. I respect that kind of ending.
