Oh dear... I can't draw animals either, but surely someone on the team could have done better?
It doesn't matter when Jap artists are auctioned off to work on these adaptations, for who knows how low of a wage.
I should one day do a proper research into this, but I really won't be surprised if every artist has like 3-5 projects they're contracted to work on, so they don't even care "how good" it looks or not.

Oh, you're right, I didn't realize that.

I guess it slipped by because of how transparent the layer is, so the editor must have thought it was an effect for the magic and didn't ask the mangaka to correct.

In the web novel, Roma died instead of being wounded. :pepehmm:
Ah, so that's why the drama here seems a bit overblown.

Well, drama is all well and good, but I'm curious about that whole "Daughter of God" thing. They just dropped that onto our heads and then absolutely nothing for the next few chapters afterward.

So Roma survived. But it seems he still didn't learn his lesson even after almost getting murdered. He's got some near fanatical naivety that probably will only be stopped by death. It's not religious, but his desire to help borders on fanaticism on the level of religious extremists. It reminds me of that guy who met his end trying to preach on North Sentinel Island.

Lerunda, sometimes just talking it out doesn't work. Not all problems can be solved with dialogue, because some people are just not willing to listen and have already decided on violence as their course of action. There are people out there who only understand power and violence as a language.

Here I thought Gaius was gonna bust out some fire magic or something, but it turns out he learned to shapeshift. NGL, the eyes and mouth of his animal form looks weird. There was an attempt, but perhaps the mangaka just isn't used to drawing dogs and wolves.

Anyway, what Gaius said is right, the guy didn't listen to anybody, including her. On another note, he might not yet have found his true course in life or his real talent, but he now has something he can do: be her pillar of strength. (and fluffball on demand)

Touching the ears or tail might be reserved for when they're older and more intimate, I guess. :lewd:
