@FredFriendly You've never been in a relationship at all have you? Dear god, I don't think you even know what a goukon even is. It's not just a meet and fuck party you moron. He knows he made a mistake and apologized for it instantly. You really speak like a 14 year old teenager.

When you have a committed relationship, for every fuckup, you have a talk first. No matter what the mistake is, short of s/he trying to stab you with a knife, you have a talk. Then you dump or make up, or whatever. Anyone who says, s/he fucked up, so I'm going to dump him/her without even trying to talk has never been in a relationship.

man the reason this worked out so well is that she was willing to listen and understand what happened. That's what makes a great relationship

I blame having played Mayumi's cuckolding report (https://vndb.org/v22760) before. This kind of stuff triggers me now, even if the genders are flipped. The person going to the party could have had ANYTHING happen to them, and they'd be very unlikely to come out with the truth of it for the sake of the relationship. Understandable, but still shitty.

It's great nothing happened, but I definitely feel that the guy took the implications of his gyokon and staying out all night too lightly. I agree that he could have called before taking the friend home, he could have borrowed a phone from someone on the street. He's in Japan, those conbi stores are 24/7 there. He also could have taken a taxi home and then told the guy "I need to go inside to grab money to pay you." But for the sake of drama, he'll walk home all night, risk catching a cold, and worrying his gf sick. If his gf had more trust issues, she'd definitely try to sniff him for the smell of soap or perfume XD.

@gaba157 for me, NTR doesn't trigger me by itself, but the lying part of it does, and there's a severe difference between "I suspect that's what happened" and "this is exactly what happened", which is why this sort of situation in this chapter would be potentially catch22 for me, where I hate the lying but the truth will hurt me immensely. Best to avoid being put in this situation entirely IRL by taking the steps I described in my previous comment. IRL you should probably know if your SO has trust issues so to mitigate this sort of damaging situation. I don't think the FMC has that much trust issues, but definitely some insecurity and anxiety that the MC could take the opportunity to relieve.

As for why do I play it? Because I'm willing to try things out before I decide whether I like it or not. I thought it was a good game, since there was a sequel, but after I finished like 80% of it I discovered it wasn't something that leaves me in a good spot mentally. I haven't finished the game and I'm not sure I want to even touch the 2nd game. I do feel like it's well written for the people who like that kink. Meanwhile, I can't put my finger on exactly why it makes me feel terrible, when I read "Tachibana-san's Circumstances With A Man" and the impact wasn't as bad. *shrug* Even shindol's stuff doesn't hit as hard for me. It could be like I said in my previous paragraph, where the Mayumi game I was talking about has "afterstory" scenes that fill in the blanks, and sometimes I just really don't want those blanks filled in. I may go back to it someday to figure it out if I feel the need to.

It has, however, made me appreciate more the more vanilla stuff I read, so you could also see it as expanding my tastes, as I agree with the notion that you can't really appreciate the high without knowing what the low is.

@yuu-oniichan thanks for the thoughtful response. It makes sense now. I have tried some too and it's not my cup of tea, for the same reasons that you described

At least we know he did drink quite a bit. No way he would have forgotten all his stuff otherwise.

Nonsense. I've forgotten more for a lot less than being drunk. Just being awake is enough for me to forget all kinds of shit I needed. If I were Batman, I'd be in the batmobile, halfway across Gotham city before realizing I forgot my utility belt back at the cave. When I went back to get it, I'd notice I didn't have my mask on. Then as I'm getting ready to leave again, I'd forget either the mask or the belt again.

@FredFriendly your comment is enough to tell just how much of a self centered human being you are..... you are probably reading too much manga and dreaming about being in a relationship, cause no way in hell a decent person with great communication skill would make a comment like that..... it made me cringe so hard reading your comment as if you are THE love expert just because you have experience..... oooh well the real experts don’t brag about their achievements anyway, only desperate fools hungry for recognition do.... by the way you only look at the faults in that guy but completely disregard how he walked back for hours just to go home even tho he could’ve stayed at his co worker’s house...... your way of thinking is like a girl

Holy hell, for such a pure lovely wholesome manga, we have some unwholesome troublemakers in the comment section.

let me tell you this; none of you are experts and this is a manga meant for wholeheartedness, sugar and sweets.

Don't you dare spread your dirty salt around here :<

I mean its an understandable fear especially since even if theyve dated for a while they just now started living together and really baring their hearts to each other, the girl is just worried and a little insecure which again is understandable giving the nature of his outing and that he didn't contact her and came back in the morning AND then he starts with an apology.... Yeah that was not a smart move no wonder she started crying, walking back or not that was an idiots sandwich move from the dude, but after talking out the problem they were good which is good.
