Re-reading this manga, the entire beginning is like passing a kidney stone.
You have a guy who has absolutely no reason to camp with the girl and a girl who has absolutely no reason to camp with the guy(or at least that specific guy) and instead of trying to come up for an excuse for at least ONE of them the author just full-force shoves a square peg in the round hole.
I mean fuck, how hard is it? Let's say Gen just got promoted at his work, and his boss heard that he camps(but not that he solo camps) and decides to send his spoiled daughter to camp with him to learn some responsibility, which puts Gen in a situation he can't really refuse. There, done, Futari Solo Camp without all the dumb stuff in it. It took me 13 seconds to come up with this scenario, come the fuck on.
