I would prefer that, yes. Divorce is messy though, especially when you have kids and a job that while likes talking down on their employees, still expect model citizen behavior for optics.

What's even more interesting -

back in Chapter 1, Tamaki asked his wife for a bit of intimacy when they were both in bed (**I should add - he saw his coworker's call on her phone, has no reason to believe they'd know one another, and first thinks then quickly dismisses that she's cheating on him), waking her up/catching her as she was falling asleep - only for her to turn him down, admonishing him and saying "you're too old to be acting like that" and just turning her back to him.

When she comes in acting like she's doing him a favor ("I know I turned you down last time") because she wants to find out if he's cheating on her (because a "15 reasons he might be..." website told her so), she doesn't wake him up, just sees him sleeping and gets fed up all on her own without any actual effort on her part.

It just seems telling, in terms of the relative amounts of effort they're each willing to put into their marriage.
