the first 2-3 chapters were peak but then the tone completely changed. author could've cooked with this premise so much more than he did

I prefered when FMC was a stone cold psycho but I guess her being cute and clumsy now is very very nice too

Yesh I'd have liked more of the stone cold pyscho for awhile, the FMC's turn should have occurred when our MC was closer to her ideal.
