the first 2-3 chapters were peak but then the tone completely changed. author could've cooked with this premise so much more than he did

The second chapter is absolutely ridiculous, it was already a comedy at that point, I don't know why anyone thinks the trainer lady was anything other than an over the top comedic character.

she was unhinged to the point that it was funny, yes. but the kind of gags we started seeing in chapter 5 were something else entirely.
