The guards are more like military that deals with foreign threats (monsters) so presumably if things got out of control with a rogue guard, the cops would get the Guild to dispatch a force to deal with it.

So basically Griffith? I knew this dark arc was coming but this series shines when it’s having lucky pervert moments with the MC and the girls. When this series gets too dark it’s bleak because the monsters love too… you know, it gets super bleak combined with the violence. The humour softens things a lot and helps it go down as a joke.

IIRC his ninja master saids Kikuru would make a better cop, so cops are just guards that are trained to fight people instead of monsters?

time mage is only allowed to cops, they may have other specialty jobs that are designed to detain people rather then monsters?

OK I can kind of understand not knowing who Kikaru is do to how he avoids the lime light, but he should have identification to prove his identity and affiliation.

Also feels like the whole arrest is kind of sus when most of the people in the group are high profile guards and aces. Obviously we dont see the whole scene, but it still flet like they zeroed in on him and completely ignored everyone else despite their celebrity status. If it wasn't for Kikaru's bad luck, the officers would have just fanboied for a bit, then walked off.
