What exactly is he confessing, they both already agreed they're going to live together.
I think he wants to put everything into words, though confessing means saying something he or she hasn’t shared to others, so yeah, bit late! Just hoping NO BS like her running away again or something anymore pls author! That would be some idiot rent a bitch level stupidity

Can i get a summary spoiler of what happened as of* yet
The ikemen rejected the gyaru. With clear self esteem issues, she immediately set her sights on the next guy (MC) even though she'd known him for years without ever being attracted to him. This was such a flaw in the narrative that in later chapters flashbacks, to earlier years at school, are inserted in a failed attempt to address it.
Like most high school boys, the MC is a pushover.
Their relationship won't last. Arguing over minor issues is fine at the start of a relationship. In a few years they'll be sick of each other.
The best girl was cast aside because readers preferred the gyaru option, with author recognising gyaru = more volumes.

For the record, I enjoy the series and Saori Oniishi is one of my top 5 VAs.

Thanks!
But iirc wasn't the gyaru at least even a little bit getting into the MC at the start too? Till chp5, i think there were some scenes of her being conscious of him? And was the childhood friend sidelined early on? Some development since obv the MC liked her and then rejection?
Did she get with the ikemen?

She was pretty early getting interested in Jirou. At least until somewhere in the early thirty chapters she was drawn between the two boys, slightly leaning more towards Jirou, which is why she wasn't that heartbroken when Minami rejected her as he had never had feelings for her, and he could tell that even if she had had feelings for him, she had started liking jirou more than him now, as even when they spent time on the beach, Akari got jealous over how close jirou was being with his at that time love interest Shiori. Also other times when he was close with her akari would get jealous too.
I mean she had bought a super sexy bikini that Jirou thought she would show Minami, but the only person she choose to show it to was him. So yeah even though they didn't immediately get along due to their different personalities, they pretty quickly warmed up to each other and started to realize they were attracted to each other (Akari realizing it faster than Jirou)

I can sense this is ending soon, man i hope the mangaka does another romance story but without an annoying third girl/guy

I really love their art style, especially since it has improved since the very first chapter
