What weird conversation to have when passing by, Tenjin 🤨 and I wouldn't call someone dangerous just because they keep secrets, especially when yours is "I was teenager boy that fell in love with an adult woman, she rejected me (thankfully) and she ended up loving and marrying my brother" that's like hormones 101 + bad luck

And I wouldn't equate that secrecy with Mei's closeted lesbianism either. He can (and should) let go of that crush, but Mei has no choice but to keep it a secret, or accept it and face the backlash of a homophobic society. And I hope they don't give her a boyfriend without confirm her bisexuality (or she rejected him and accepts herself)

About our main couple, that panel with them hugging gives me 10 years of life❤️ it was so cute. I understand that they are finally realizing that they are going to date and live together (is a big move even if they are half used to it, bc now they'll date and pay for everything) if Jirou has to confess again better be next chapter and not 5.

i understand that the author is trying to tie all of the possible loose ends especially for secondary/side characters but this is the first time i experience that an author compressed it in one chapter and the chapter is not even that long.

sometimes i always wonder if she really do her 100%, i know being a manga artist/author is really hard but seems she's not really doing her 100% lately from these past months (especially she just post a lot of things of going places or just focus her nails, i know its alright to relax but isn't it excessive?). i know the manga is already ending but this is not an excuse to shortcut things.

Finally some progress, not dragging the story like some previous chapter. I hope author not dragging the story again. I was lost track about what's going on for last several chapter so I need to re-read previous chapter to get back on track.

It’s authors work, they are free to develop the story the way they want. Just because it’s not being done in a way you want doesn’t mean they aren’t giving it their 100%.

but yeah possibly she is already on that point that she's burned out as its noticeable upto the previous volume that sometimes the writing is all over the place and im not the only one noticing it and getting confused about her pacing direction.

and as a reader for 6 years im used to having her chapter release containing 35-40 pages consistently that's why i just point out the difference up to now that sometimes she get 40 page chapters sometimes is always less than 20 pages. it's not that im trying to complain, it's just i started reading this with enthusiasm and even buy her JP manga and even up to those expensive limited edition releases for UDON to support.

i always respect kanamaru that's why i just point out those things in a nice way and civil but sometimes its just sad that it's just comes to this.

I really hope all of the secondary characters get their proper closure, but I feel like the manga is ending and all of the closures will need to happen back to back which is kind of stupid, this shit with hamano has been going for like the entire manga and still no relevant development

Anyway, nice to see that the main couple apparently has overcome all the obstacles to be together forever, including the ones that they stupidly made themselves.

People will date for 3 years, live together for 5 years and one will still ask the other "Will you marry me?" when the time comes.
It's a ritual, it's courtesy... Just a way to "officialize" things.
