It was quite comical how serious-toned the melodrama of the whole ordeal was then suddenly, a giant ass covering the panel followed with the iconic female mangaka man's hands fetish. My fucking sides.

That was an amazing ending to Shiori honestly... it eas drsgging too much but its nice that finally they were open about their feelings

Jirou, at least, was perfectly happy to be open with his feelings and look after Shiori back then...she, however, was worried about what everyone else would think and did everything in her power to pull away (and what she didn't do on her own, her "friends" did for her). If he'd fought harder, he would've made things worse. Not fighting, of course, did the same. There was no win for him. Not then, not now. I mean, great, she finally did what she should've done half a lifetime ago. Big whoop. Thank goodness he finally cut this dead weight loose.

They cried because they both well mostly she realized Jirou loved her and she never tried anything and took it for granted and now he is in love with Akari they both cried because he knows he cant love her and she knows that too.
