Alright, thanks for taking over this series! I was beginning to think I might have to pick it up myself XD

Even if you tried your best, the bitter truth is that sometimes, your best just isn't enough. A painful lesson about taking things for granted and sheepishly wallowing in cowardice, for both of them. On the bright side, they're still young. This would've been far more painful if it happened to them as adults. Finally, I guess the love triangle's over with Shiori getting rejected.

Honestly that was unnecessary fanservice from Akari, but I guess sales must be starting to dip...

pg. 4 "Shiro"...? Do you mean Shiori?

I hate this community sometimes. This is one of the most emotion-invoking manga I've ever read. This chapter got me to cry over a fictional story for the first time in 4.5 years, and is very well done. I love this manga with all my heart.
And yet the top comments about the chapter itself are talking about Akari's ass.
I really am done with people sometimes.

I thought there wouldn't be a good way to stir the plot to either romantic side but I actually like this, finally jirou going only for one of them and also a good lesson on the result of being a coward and not being decisive, they both could've had their happy ending but inaction also has consequences

This got me good. The portrayal younger versions of them is heart wrenching. makes me wish there was an AU where the 2 of them just got paired with each other from the start and everyone would've been happy.

On a third reread i understand jiro and shiori should stop being cowards, calling jiro a wimp is not totally incorrect but laughing and getting mad at him for just wanting to not be involved in anything like that is just being an asshole.

Jiro is normal, he doesn't enjoy making fun of others and hurting others for his satisfaction and that's fine, people can decide how they live and if they want to be social or not, it's not easy to just believe you have to choose without caring about the consequences of those actions, even more so if it will hurt someone you care about
