Can somebody just recommend me a romance series which has a strong male MC?

Strong in a sense that they can stand their ground, have a sound principle, and/or have a quirky character. I only managed to find 2 of such series from the top of my head, which are:

• Otonari no Tenshi-sama (Fujimiya Amane)
• Oregairu (Hikigaya Hachiman)

Even though this series draws a few similarities to Toradora, at least Ryuuji still has some spine. This Jirou bud can't even decide and choose to flip-flop between Akari and Shiori, not knowing that it can hurt both of them in the long run. Jirou is not Kazuya (Kanokari) level of trash, but still Jirou is still trash.

Please, don't make me hate you like I hate Kazuya, Jirou.
