Could just be the Green Kingdom doing scouting about why the winter suddenly hit and it being so different (Like how the Snow Kingdom is with the royals)

I wonder if the setting this time is that due to the snow kingdoms prolonged issues, all other nations are facing similar weakness and issues. and the "bad guys" are the increasing number of otherworld objects falling into the various fairy springs, sapping the magic they need 🤔
