So she just completely forgot her mom is sick and her dad is trying to get a hold of her? She responded, but not the second time. Seems like the only ones who supported her in her previous life are also being thrown away like the rest of her past. Unless the author does more later, that kind of seems messed up. She could also at least FaceTime or smth if she has service. I don’t know, that whole subplot just seems a bit weird and not well thought out.
