Based on the last cafe chapter, I think Gab is going to surprise Vigne by going to her chosen university as well.It feels it will end as they graduate sadly. Which is sad it would be fun following Gab's bum life and Vigne going to collage. Though Gab could 100% pass the exam by cramming probably lol.
Judging by how other works are handling this trope, I wouldn't be surprised if all four of them end up at the same university anyway. In this or that. Unless, of course, Ukemi wants to quote Kaguya and swap Gab with Vigne as a NEET and a responsible character.Based on the last cafe chapter, I think Gab is going to surprise Vigne by going to her chosen university as well.
If I didn't know that this was the most recent chapter, I might have thought that it was a actual New Year's chapter that was only translated now due to late translation. Which is what makes its release in early October so intriguing. But the idea of Ukemi running through the seasons so quickly in just 5-6 chapters does seem strange (if the manga is selling well and he's clearly enjoying it, then why is he in such a hurry?). If this is really the case (it's not like Ukemi is just mixing them up, since this chapter clearly took its time seriously), then if events develop unluckily, we may get the ending in the next volume already.Weird chapter order since we had an unambiguous summer chapter with Michael practicing her idol moves and then it seemed like the amusement park chapter was leading into the Halloween season but then the sauna chapter took place on a hot day which would make me think that it was still summer, then there was one seasonally ambiguous chapter that presumably took place sometime in autumn about Tapris possibly becoming student council president, and now it's New Year's already.
Then again, the amusement park was only just beginning its Halloween season event so it might still have been late August or very early September, not to mention how this series is set in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture where October can still have summer-like temperatures. But autumn is the best season so I was hoping we'd get an autumn chapter.
New Year's in Heaven sounds like it would be hell but New Year's in Hell sounds like a lot of fun.
I think it already depends on Ukemi's intentions. Maybe he'll start a new spin-off or write a sequel with new characters? Or will he create something like his own version of "K-ON! in college"? If we accept the convention that the manga will indeed end soon. One thing that I hope we get post-graduation is a "Devils visit Heaven and then Angels visit Hell" arc considering we got that tease so long ago about Gabriel and Raphiel being so bored in Heaven that they decided to try sneaking Satania (and presumably also Vigne) into Heaven but that wasn't ever followed up with a chapter of them actually following through with it.
I can think of a comparison that works in the US: Getting into a university or college isn't all that hard, you just need an okay SAT score (or ACT, although fewer universities take that now) and even with a GPA in the C range (2.0s) you can still get into a college, especially two-year community colleges. However, if you want to get into one of the Ivy League schools, or one of the highly competitive technical schools like MIT or Georgia Tech you need a perfect or nearly perfect SAT score, a 4.0 or better GPA and lots of extracurricular activities on your c.v. That takes a hell of a lot of studying and work to achieve, although some of it's spread out over all four years of high school. (As compared to three in Japan.)I can relate to the weirdness that is seeing the huge amount of studying to get into the next step of education. There aren't any exams to get into school here, only uni, and even then it wasn't hard to do so.
If the manga really ends soon, then I think a lot depends on the reasons for the speed of it. After all, the manga is still popular and, due to the episodic comedy format you mentioned, did not seem to require a obligatory story ending (remember the problems Bleach or JJK had because of this). But here we can only speculate and guess.Seems like high school will be ending soon, though there seems to be a lot of unresolved storylines/plot points, hopefully the series continues into college/young adult life ideally something like how Futaribeya did it(But ones a romance and anotherās a comedy so I wouldnāt get my hopes up).
This. No errors lolNot very quiet, if even the authorās āafterwordā wants more of this fanservice from them
I could be wrong, but they probably just meant that in the feeding scene they can be called flirting and Gab loudly emphasized this.
Yeah I wouldn't be that surprised if she did. I just it hope it continues in their college life as well.Based on the last cafe chapter, I think Gab is going to surprise Vigne by going to her chosen university as well.
