A... LOT... of reveals here, starting... how old is Zodyl? His appearance and how he emphasizes how the Watchman Series has been used for a long time don't exactly align well, unless he is some kind of "immortal", which I don't know how it would work here.

But at the same time, I don't believe it would be impossible for that, but I do think there is a lot of amplification here for Zodyl's part on how "he made the series".

For real, it feels a bit rushed. This manga is too good to get axed. I hope it doesn't because it is one of the better mangas I've consumed this year.

What if Zody is a Jinki himself? One of, if not the first, Jinki made in the land above and thrown away for some reason. Would explain the dead eyes and limited emotion.

soo as expected the jacket is part of the series but i didnt imagen that he is the creator of it
so what is up with the symbol? and the book that had the same symbol on the cover
why did angel guy has killed one for getting the book and where was angelguys helper guy up there
and i guess big monster will die on the barrier, just to show how strong it is?
maybe even the flying city it self is some kind of jinki ^^
