Ah crap, another big boobs onee-san dying? Why, just why? ðŸ˜

If it's so--and because of certain aspects of this story, I have more faith that she won't die than I would in most other manga--it's because Tsubone isn't a loli or other androgynous character, but rather possessed of exceptional physical and behavioral attractiveness. You generally don't see girls who are the opposite of her being sacrificed--especially when there's one like Tsubone around to serve as narrative fodder. What's more, the author might have even got word from his editor that Ariane and Glenys are two too many attractive women present (Ariane's sister--forgot her name--doesn't count, she has stronk wymyn hair compared to her mother and sister; a progressive plus) in this one story for the current zeitgeist.
But like I said, this is conjecture. This manga already doesn't follow many of the current marching orders currently issued (e.g., all-powerful magical femboys afraid of big tits on feminine women, pushing androgynous females as icons of ideal beauty), so who knows? Maybe she'll survive. It'd be good: she's already laid down some narrative strings in her short appearance; on the contrary, if she were to be offed just to keep the story going, it'd leave those loose ends untied--and that'd be one part of what'd constitute the first substantial flaw of this story.
