So you can boil this point down by two reincarnators playing different playstyles, one is the good playthrough while other one is going for a villian/evil playthrough.

There also issue of different builds, and possible games entirely. If my knowledge correct, while MC reincarnated with few jobs, magical and physical, Pope had only one magical.

A quick rundown:

• Sterotypical evil church doing experiments and using the undead because the leader is a reincarnator/otherworlder who's convinced that the world he's in is a game, and as such has no morality.
• A massive alliance is in the process of being made between most of the Human Kingdoms (that's not under the church's influence), the Elves, and Beast Tribe in the hopes of combatting the Church's undead forces. Arc is the key to the plan due to his wide range of skills and strength, including teleportation magic.
• The elders that run the Elves are mostly idiots.
• Hence Obligatory duel between Arc and Dragon Goddess/Queen.

Really? I honestly don't think it's a spoiler (at least as far as the manga's concern), the villain keeps using game terminology when he talks, and in an earlier chapter (58-60 I think, can't remember), Arc had speculated that the guy was an otherworlder like him and had possibly played a strategy simulation game.

yes, but so far he hasn't made clear he thinks this is a game, it's more that what he's doing is to get out not that he doesn't give a sh!t

personally how it was translated and therefore how he acts and behaves like "this is my world" and "who will win the game" .... it makes it very hard to say he doesnt see the world as a game

in 10/10 times I would judge it as him seeing all of it as a game

PS: its the same as looking at arc and his elf girlfriend and saying that at least she is not in love with arc, because she didnt say so, even when it is THAT obvious

It's not that they took 4 months because they were busy with other projects. That's how effing slow new raw chapters of Skeleton Knight are being released lately, there's been a 2-4 months wait between each full raw chapter for the last 2-3 years?!!!

I check the official raw links once in a while to see if the raws have been released yet. People who bring that kind of complains should check the official raw links instead of complainin about the scanlators.

LH releases Skeleton Knight pretty quick once all the split raws of each chapter are available. They even get the latest paid raws, the freely available raws are still at ch.63. Raw 64.1 was released about two weeks ago, and 64.2 just a few days ago, so it should come soon and if they follow their previous pattern they could release the 64.2 scanlation tomorrow (edit: and they did indeed release 64.2 on schedule)

And this chapter seems to have been split in 3 or mangaka is taking less time since next raw should come out Feb 6th. After that we won't know if we'll be back to waiting 2-4 months like it happened between raw 63 and 64, and same between raw 62 and 63 or mangaka is back to releasing every two weeks but that's not LH's fault.
