He was never the smart one of his team.

I mean, we already know what his special plan is - unleashing the two kaiju he spent last 20+ chapters brewing up while the enemy forces are bound in the pitched combat.

That's a fairly solid plan, especially if we account for the fact that he's a necromancer, so he genuinely doesn't have to care about 99% of the casualties.
