Yes on the manga and the novels the dragon near the fountain that removes Arc's curse told him that people and things usually fall in that planet from time to time so some monsters, civilizations and certain people are from other planets.

So far in the novels there have been 3 confirmed players, 2 rpg/grand strategy which are the pope, as foreshadowed in the latests manga chapters, Evangeline Mapple which was the founder of Canada and then there is Arc which is a mmorpg player

i never got the canada bit xD and yeah it was pretty obvious the pope would be one.

Does anyone know if the manga is on hiatus? I think it is but I could be wrong. I can't find anything about why there hasn't been an update but that could be because of my incompetence.

I don't quite remember if Evin herself is already married or is soon to be married, but if I'm not mistaken about hat, then she doesn't really have a leg to stand on about opposing her sister's attraction to a man.

This author CANNOT write political characters or dialogues. I wish he improves in the future, but absolutely none of these characters are actually shrewd enough to be proper politicians, much less heads of state. They're all too honest and straight-forward, not even thinking deeper than face value; and when they do dig deeper than surface level into the mind of the other person, it's framed as something amazing. In this case, it's the complete opposite of the 8th son thing where absolutely everyone is political that it gets in the way of the story. Thankfully, this manga doesn't suffer the same problem in the opposite direction, since the author still knows how to write characters that feel like actual characters, unlike the 8th son thing.
