Just replace 'she' with Frost and thats probably closer to the original lol, or its a more gender neutral pronoun because japanese is weird. If she did let it slip in the raws I imagine the maids definitely would have reacted

My guess was translation artifact. Japanese doesn’t require you to specify gender as often as English, so those pronouns could have been introduced by the translator.
