Just keep him squirming, don't back him up whenever anyone has a misunderstanding about who he's dating. I'm with Aina, it's more entertaining to see him that way because he's just so hapless as a romcom protagonist. We're 18 chapters in and I don't think Mie has changed a single bit since chapter 1. Still the same nervous coward he was before. I wonder if I should continue to hope he'll grow a spine before this ends or will this reach the end milking the same situation over and over.
