He saw them, after going to her place after the meeting with the glasses guy, leaving her place, he calls out to her, the guy beats him up. He then says "I wanna have sex with you, gets more beating and after intervention of her the big guy backs off. He tells her there he wants to marry her, they go to her place, he says hes serious about marrying (ofc they had sex in her flat).
Her mom comes into the flat, she gives her blessing but he should wait until being a proper adult, he gets approval from his parents and they eventually marry (time jump literally being "a few years later")
