GD published chapters monthly. Now they publish none. That manga is now being dropped so absolutely no releases will come out and it will be likely the victim of horrible MTL or worse. Don't get on a high horse when fights like these can lead to a series being utterly abandoned for years without any hope of a translation outside of an official release that might not occur. It has happened to WAY too many series to count. How is that any different than when GD is "translating" it?
Yeah, my life circumstances probably won't let us get caught up on everything, but I'm trying to at least get back into a regular release pace again.@blehblehblahblah @Darkshade13
Say whatever you want about GDS, but Scyllazy are also having their issues. Picking up other series, that was slowly getting translated, while they're also "keeping hostage" other titles, like Uninvited Gal Nakamura-san (translated 6 chapters, published 44) or Aren't You Too Sweet Salt-God Sato-San? (translated 70, published 86). It's literally the same thing that GDS are doing.
Not that I care, because I'm not paying, so I'm having literally no rights to complain and I'm also big believer of "free market" in terms of who translate what, especially in cases like those 3 mangas, where TL group clearly is taking their sweet time to release new chapters, while source material is pilling up like crazy. But - let's not apply double standards.
Not to toot our own horn too much, but we will get around to the rest of the volume as soon as we can, and we'll make sure it gets the quality treatment it deserves.GDS magically churns out large amount of chapters(surely these chapters were all translated and uploaded to free sites as soon as they were finalized, and not held somewhere else!) immediately after higher quality group approaches the place where they left this manga last. I wouldn't wish GDS holding a series I'm deeply invested in hostage on my worst enemy.
I mean... there's not much of a misunderstanding, more like otakura is in denial and having to deal with the walls he himself put up and Yua getting jealous wanting to both show off his good points and monopolize him as well. The typical cliche misunderstanding
if we go to that route we only have 3 chapters in most mangasEveryone say it with me...
C O M M U N I C A T E
though I don't think Otaku-kun can be swayed so easily from the gyaru-lover camp
You don't have to be wawa player to shit on genshit tho.GDS living rent free on some people head at this point, saddest shit, starting to remind me of Wawa players that can't go without having to mention Genshit just to shit on it in a discussion lmao
I don't like them either, but holy shit some people in these past discussion for some of the series they are doing
Yes you don't have to be a wawa player, but am especifically talking about the ones that used to play genshit and always derail threads when the discussion have absolutely nothing to do with it at all, like they have some hostage problemYou don't have to be wawa player to shit on genshit tho.
That's cute? The vice prez is cute. Her eyes are like plush dolls' black bead eyes.
If they were releasing monthly, or even at a consistent pace, nobody would be complaining. Everyone is complaining because GD scans will deliberately sit on translated chapters for months on end to try and bait donations to continue a series (which is more illegal than usual scanlations btw), only to release a bulk of chapters within days of someone else trying to take up the mantle of what appeared to be an abandoned series, to try and scare off "the competition". It's predictable and absolutely pathetic. If having another translator take a crack at a series is enough to make GD drop it then they weren't that serious about translating it anyway. If they are stretched too thin maybe they should drop a bunch of series and instead focus on a few they can manage, instead of continuing this childish bullshit that they keep doing like clockwork.GD published chapters monthly.
