Honestly I'm kinda inclined to agree. I like both appearances but I think I actually had a mild preference for her old appearance.
Plus I'm not all that fond of pink and am more a ponytail guy than twintails (or whatever this particular derivative is called) guy.
Although I'll also admit her current appearance makes for an interesting contrast with how her eyes are drawn.
