I really hope riko has more interactions with the soccer guy, he seemed like a real one and like her even before her makeover. Hopefully he comes back as a possible friend to otaku and new love interest for riko.

They did my girl Riko so dirty this chapter , but I trust she will also get a (date?) with otaku-kun soon . Can't have it fall touch to one side since their both best girls honestly

Periodic reminder that the source material for this series has three branching routes, giving each heroine a "true" win. Whether or not the manga follows that pattern, of course, remains to be seen.

There better be some type of trauma or serious bullying that went down when he was younger, cause otherwise it makes absolutely no sense he'd be like this, it's like he has low self esteem just for the sake of the "otaku trope"
