A good chapter but GD has already done up to Chapter 27, definitely slow to update a lot of titles on Mangadex… I just realized that I read this chapter back in August 2025 on another site.

That's how they've always operated - if somebody were to translate and upload Ch. 23, GDS would panic and dump all of their translated chapters on here. As far as I'm aware they don't paywall anything, so technically it doesn't break any rules, it's just annoying. Thankfully aggregate sites tend to scrape their chapters so you can read without giving them any traffic - that's probably how you read this chapter before.

They stopped uploading this serie here along the Executed Sage and the Hero and Sage one, right after MD got hit by the DMCA last year (which is why they are missing alot of chapters), unlike the usual scummy stuff they do when someone snipe them, they were still regularly keeping up to date these 3 series in their site (and being posted in reddit as cubari links for example), which is not something they do when someone try to take a serie and then they dump a bunch of chapters right away, as those chapters are nowhere to be seen until that moment (MU doesn't keep track of those chapters either for someone to know if is still being worked on), but this time that didn't happen since no one tried to take these series anyway

My guess is that they were actually waiting for things to cool off before uploading these 3 series here again, KimiZero is another serie that got DMCA and they stopped uploading here, but they stopped translating after 40 and the official english is already at 46.3 anyway (and raws at 48.1), so maybe they upload up to 40 and who knows if they keep going
