This is so sad, can you imagine if we got this development over an entire volume or two without time skipping 1.5 years.

I'm always amazed and disappointed in how some series overstay their welcome for years (looking at you rent a girlfriend) but so many unique or quirky stories struggle to make it.
I'll never forgive whichever executive axed Otona ni Narenai Bokura wa. Quite possibly the worst ending to a manga I've ever seen :angery:
Sometimes authors need to be given a chance even if they have bad sales. Most legendary artists never see fame within their lifetime, but for manga that's not exactly practical nowadays...

I feel like...this is so weird. Like, the author clearly has the talent to write characters and romance well, while still maintaining humor and whimsy.

And then...this happens. I don't know what to make of it. I love that we're finally getting to the truth but why is it happening in such a strange way. And not in the good "Tsuchinoko breaking through a window" strange. This is just kinda off.

BUT, the first 29 chapters were so good that I will let the author cook and see where we go from here.

hey OsisNie, whatever happened to Suibu ga Yametai? I loved that series
The whole plot of Hagino liking Tsurumaki never amounts to anything, or even close to anything. I don't think Kirino ever learns how to do diaphragmatic breathing, either? I could be wrong, it's been a minute. Basically, the manga just kinda ends. Plus, being blunt, it's hard to find motivation to do something, especially something with tricky wording, when only like 10 people actually care. So I'll almost certainly never finish it. Sorry.

I have no idea what the significance of it being the anniversary of his mom's death is, but I know there's no other way to interpret that line... so... here we are. I swear to god if this is all just a dream or something...
You know, with the number of manga I read in past months from different author, I'm not even surprised anymore. I will be still mad, but not surprised by it.

If it's just a dream then there was no time skip, Nekota wakes up and confesses when he sees Jun in the morning. Not too bad.

Oh and, thanks for the chapter!💋

Thanks for the translation!

Thanks for releasing this chapter out of your own pocket @OsisNie.

It seems they are thanking her for taking care of one of their own through the dogpiling?

That would be sweet of them, but I'm pretty sure she has some dried squid in her pocket (she was holding it last chapter) that they're just trying to relieve her of but they don't know how.

I know it's probably too late to ask in this thread, but I keep forgetting, so maybe fate will work its magic...
Turns out I'm not gonna be working on the shoujo I mentioned before, which leaves me bereft of anything (that I want) to work on. So I'm looking for suggestions of either abandoned or untranslated romcoms with no more than 20ish pages per chapter. I'll look at anything, but promise nothing. Preferably shounen or seinen. Adults and adult themes are okay. I'm not 100% averse to working with others, but I don't do it well, historically speaking.

I am back again to request the manga we already discussed!

I know you said you already binged it...but I bet a lot of people would like it (11k bookmarks). If not, no worries, but this is as good a chance as I'll get it.

Yeah... it would be fun, but the RD is pretty rough on that one. The reason, honestly, that I managed to pump out 30 Tsuchinokos in 2 3 weeks is because it's very light on sfx and RD in general.

Gotcha. I trust your judgment since you did a great job on Tsuchinoko. Fingers crossed, but if not then i'll probably follow whatever rom com you choose

If you are looking for anything from the peanut gallery to see if you like. This series is 6 months without update and the one before was 11 months. I remember being interested in seeing where it would go when I read what was translated a few months ago.

Please, don't let this be an axe! Such a weird pacing for 2 chapters, and SO MANY tsuchinokos.

My humble suggestions:
https://mangadex.org/title/0d0cafa6-d820-495a-aa4a-7a935e4216a5/traveling-gyaru - 15 chapters left untranslated, finished.
https://mangadex.org/title/7a2ecc5c...an-no-gakkou-no-hokenshitsu-no-komaki-sensei? tab=chapters - 24 chapters, it's a spin-off so it seems nobody bothers with it :(

Ugh, that sucks.
It was a pretty funny SoL so I'm ok if those never do a "final chapter" but I hate when authors in general dangle interesting plot points and then do nothing with them or give us no resolution.

As one of those 10 people, thanks for the work on it.

Here likes Hagino. She never scored.
