As long as you can talk to women like a normal person you should be fine. I had a GF in high school, but it wasn't until 12 years later that I started dating my wife. I was lucky that we worked in the same building. Just by talking with her normally and it took a while before we became friends. Then more time till she was ready to date. She had to know she could trust me. 28 years later and two grown kids. I am short and I think not very attractive. My wife is above my pay grade as they say. So it can happen. Don't despair.
