The people saying this arc is overstaying it's welcome are so wrong. This is probably the last arc of Kaiji and once they escape he'll be done gambling. At least given how well they spread the earnings among those passbooks it wouldn't be easy to consolidate it all and gamble it away i imagine. Fukumoto could very well write it so he gambles it all away, but that would be a very bad asspull to keep the series going.
