The captain's actions look questionable. Keeping her promise, she can't recruit Sylva. Yet, if I had to guess, she's fully planning to summon him and give him a mission, as if he was working under her. But he's not. He's not enjoying a knight's high salary and benefits. It's not fair to make him do a knight's work when he's not one. I hope she will offer him a grand reward if that truly is her intention when summoning him.
I hate the protagonist man. I hate him so much. I hope this improves in the coming chapters because right now, the MC is unlikeable "Ohhhh I don#t wanna be involved I want to observe the main story not steal the spotlight from the hero!" what does he do: train himself to max stats and steal the spotlight of the hero with his actions and continue to act like this delusional shit!
Well, he is dumb, but his original intention isn't necessarily bad. He just can't really stick to it due to being stupid. From the game, he knows the demon crisis will have a happy ending, with Allen the Hero defeating the demons. When you know something like that, it's not necessarily wise to try to change it. Being a fool, he changed it nonetheless. For the time being, he decided to act as if nothing had changed too dramatically.
What comes to his max stats, it goes without saying. What would you do? It's a dangerous world. He knows how to do it efficiently. Of course he would maximise his power, even if he wasn't planning to save the world. It's just to keep himself alive.
