Not sure how he used magic otherwise without whatever magic item/ritual or deus ex Machina they’re foreshadowing.

Completely lost interest in the mc and too bad the girl didn't get a harsh lesson but good for her for finally starting growing up.

Although that's only because from the pain of other naive idiot girl who sacrifices herself out of her idiotic kindness, I hope she learnt her lesson to, and the mc girl has truly grown to not be that naive to let her do that.

Ofc, freakin plot armor comes to the rescue, we could see that fighting on equal ground, Manako could barely go against the eldest child of Daba (she got buffed by MC and only then managed to gain the upper hand), whom tremble at the thought of fighting against his father, yet just after a week of muscle training, she could make the king cornered, and even forcibly unchained herself that should've been done from the first day of being chained, lul. Poor Churika
