You know, considering that the kicker to Kurono's character development was being the only survivor of the temple mission and that Sutezou is basically the same alien that killed Katou and Kishimoto, I wonder how Kurono will react about that.

That's an interesting consideration - didn't think of that - if Kurono sees Sutezou's true form, then he might make the connection like you've proposed

What I did consider was that the espers have the abillity to "see through" the body, and so, they could by accident find out, even if Sutezou remains in his human form. However, if they stick with Reika, they are more likely to end up encountering Kurono

So overlaps can now abound as botht the humans AND the aliens from any and all Gantz jaunts can be summoned. Also the “cut and paste” kinda has me wondering about the “cut” part. To take the analogy to it’s endpoint in a way that might be interesting, this would mean that for each individual, Gantz would only have access to the version of them that they last chose to “cut”, right? This is kindā limit to their power where it makes Gants have to selectively choose when/why they would want to make a certain “cut”.
Unless that is totally wrong and literally Gants can just copy from any moment in the entirety of their copied existence to just plop in anywhere.

Or else, Reika could have asked for a Kurono before he knew Tae, and have a thirsty Kurono that would easily love her.

Unless Reika knows that she specifically loves the Kurono that loves Tae and not past Kurono, but i find it unlikely, since she doesn't know past Kurono, and I remember that she asked Kurono if he would love her if he met her first.

It’s probably more accurate to say that Gantz definitely could do that but he doesn’t care enough to and doesn’t give the feature as a result lel. At the same time he WAS out of the machine when Reika got her boytoy clone so if she asked specificially a Kei from a few missions ago I can imagine him accepting.

True, Gantz does save states during each session. So it's definitely in his range of capabilities.

But we don't know if he actually keeps them. We know Gantz works like a computer since it can be hacked, and resurection was blocked at the end, either because the "server" was destroyed, or memory access was removed by "giant" or "gods" alien. Imo I think Gantz memory is not infinite, and the rich guys behind gantz didn't bother investing in "better hardware" (at least not for the alien hunting games).

So glad I looked up the comments here because I too have NO fucking idea what is going on and reading OG Gantz seems like a total fever dream. I don't remember any of this shit.

Only thing I am hoping is that because we are seeing things through the lense of the new characters, everything will be treated as "new" and explained to us - making the reading easier. The new characters will have the same perspective as us, no idea what is going on.
