frailty doesn't negate the worth of life
if these aliens are omniscient or some shit they should know at least that much
guess hiroya had to go through his angsty phase

It would've been better if the author stopped at reconstructing memories and feelings, but he had to use killing those revived characters as prove instead, which really doesn't mean much. Moreover, if the aliens can create humans out of nothing, why kill them in such a grotesque way instead of returning them to nothingness.

Yea this went retarded. its so edgy for no reason when in reality, just killing someone doesnt mean their life is worth nothing. These aliens are supposed to be all knowing but they're pretty fucking dumb. But ig the Main characters are more dumb since they attack literally god

wow, this doesn't prove anything. Of couse humans are made of matter, otherwise we would be energy (or dark matter/energy). Pulling off some bullshit "explanations" out of his god alien ass.

They could have literally revived all humans lost in this invasion, but they decided to not, because? And even if they didn't want to, they already gave humanity the technology to do it, but oops, it doesn't work anymore, convenient.

The plot turned from a comedic tone to a serious one... can't people just accept that instead of calling it edgy? This chapters are philosophy.

I don't think the aliens are representative of this manga's morality. It's representative of the falsity of morality. Humans are just those things they said, but also humans are the things that Kato said. The value doesn't exist but that opens a multiplicity of beauty in that vacuum of meaning. The coldness of the aliens show they lack understanding through their own elevated egos. While humans can appreciate such things because of our frame of reference. The aliens view themselves superior but that also places them in the same level of ignorance as humanity in their anthropocentrism. Power decides which moral system is accepted wide scale, but that doesn't make it the hypostasis of our existence. Instead this shows hyperstition, the technological process creates the prophecy of becoming. These creatures technologically exist above us and view themselves as better but the meaning of this war (that Kurono found) is that there is no better, we are equal in our struggle. The same way we humans struggle and will to power, these creatures are the same and our scales are unable to be understood by each. Maybe in the hypothetical they can and we can. But in truth, no one is right, because these truths exist in tandem. What a postmodern masterpiece man.

It's actually hilarious how it took borderline 4th wall breaking God Aliens for the morons on this site to realize the story had nihilistic themes... did you idiots actually read 350+ chapters of this and think Oku believed in God? Genuinely one of the greatest manga of all time and you clowns are whining over how special you think humanity is when one of the biggest themes is how much humanity sucks.
