So I haven't actually started reading this one.

Is this another axed yuri manga?

Perhaps one with a fun, interesting dynamic or premise?

Why does it keep happening?

I doubt this was axed - we did see a proper ending to the story, after all. Though the question of volume 3 not being announced even now (this chapter's raws was released 2 months ago) suggests something similar might've happened.

This one is an interesting yuri indeed - particularly the world-building aspect.

I guess Isana keep looking for Hime before she died. After page 28 seems like she is reincarnated after 1500 years and still looking for Hime, until she find her in that cathedral.

I don't get it
I think to defeat the final monster they had to merge their souls with the world. In doing so, all was to become one but Hime kicked out Isana's soul because she was able to be a complete soul as a result of their journey. The sister, went on a journey to find her. Sometime in a future world, Isana is reborn and Hime is as well since the souls split which lets them meet again.

As for people wondering if it's axed, hard to say really, there was not much anywhere else to go really, alternative would probably just stretch the fight and the ending, so this might have been planned a short series from the beginning

At least I don't get the rushed ending vibes

Wasn't this whole thing about finding the sister? I stopped reading after chapter 15 to get more chapters but after just 6 chapters it ended? What happened to the sister? Idek how Isana is in that capsule in the first place. I'm just being lazy not reading the previous chapters, but I don't see how in 6 chapters it wraps up from where i last remember it was at.

This was almost certainly axed it’s ending is barely coherent. They introduced that girl who was with Feld like she was a critical part of the story and then she was completely unimportant. Compared to the pacing of the rest of the manga this chapter alone had a breakneck pace.

This really needed at least 10 more chapters with some characters being introduced as someone important to the plot and never really explained, still if it was axed the author managed to give it a kind of proper but open ending for both MCs tho Isana's sister got some sad ending, hope they can finally live together (office lady Hime tho). :smugnako:

And he somehow squeezed Gekko from Metal Gear into the story.

I saw this kind of ending a mile away, i'm glad i didn't get too invested. the whole "tragic ending but they'll reincarnate a thousand years later and find each other!" thing is so lame to me. and it was so rushed. siiiigghh

I don't know about axed but one say I will say: it deserved at least double the chapters, way too many details and explanations that felt crammed in almost every chapters
Thank you for your work!

Maybe some of the details (particularly world-building ones) will be revealed in volume 3 if that ever gets announced. The past 5 chapters or so has been quite a rush.

Who knows, maybe Koruse will return one day with a banger sequel to this series. I really liked this series' fascinating world.

I think I saw on their Twitter that volume 3 comes out now October 18

They also talked about it in their fanbox, but nobody in Kemono copied their fanbox stuff so I can't see the entire post lol

A sequel would be swell

What an expositional slog with no payoff. Hopefully something better takes its publication spot.

Yeah, but still the amount of world-building for "only" 3 volumes definitely feel odd, and with the time skip, I don't know how s/he could pull a sequel 'cause the entire story is created around those 2, I don't feel like it leaves any places for anyone else worth a volume

The last few chapters were super rushed with events and information, but overall i had a ton of fun reading Gara no Hime. Loved the art, the small moments and the overall plot was very interesting too, just wish we had about 12 more chapters.

Big thanks to everyone for the translations, editing and hosting!
