The author seem to retcon Mochizuki's memory since c3-c4 - now he IS able to retain his memories during transformation for some reason. Not sure I'm in favor of "evil overprotective dad" premise in this series since he has a solid reason to take action (really, how the heck can you "watch over" Kawaru, send tons of staff to ensure MC never bleeds?), but well, plot armor always wins.

Maybe just the first time?

I feel like Dad could just wear a hoodie and be fine with going outside? In the cooler months at least. It's 2024, after all.

Though speaking of, Dad being stuck mid-transformation would suggest that either Mom or an old sweetheart of his is also some sort of prey-animal. Is she something tougher than a rabbit? A deer? And if both parents are were-animals, why are both daughters wolves? Do they have a secret deer sibling? ... It probably all depends on how many chapters the author ends up getting.

The mom is confirmed human early on in the previous chapters.

The issue is these werewolves are supposed to be real hungry for humans when transformed so dad probably doesn't leave the house. Supposedly. Iunno. Human mom is right there, uneaten flesh-wise. Probably absolutely devoured already bed-wise.

If he's a rabbit, shouldn't his trigger for transforming be getting horns? Reproducing IS a rabbit's core instinct, aside from survival.
