Honestly, for an axe the ending was nicely done, you can feel that the ending is rushed, since most of the characters didn’t have their closure and that some plot point remains uncovered, but the main points have been covered in the few chapters author had left. Good job sensei

I'm super sad that this had to be cut short due to poor sales. I'm certain the author had a lot planned for the future, maybe other animals, more crazy moments, etc.

Nevertheless, even with the hand he was dealt, I think this is a very satisfying final chapter and volume. Pretty much no stone was left unturned, even if some important bits of the story had to be really quickly thrown in. I know way more manga that end in much less satisfying ways.

Translating this manga was a lot of fun as well. I'm happy that I got to share this newcomer author with the rest of the world. May his next work be a success!

A reminder to buy the manga you really like if you want it to continue.

I enjoyed that one quite a lot, so it's sad to see it finish in a rushed manner, although there's much worst out there in that regard...
Mostly feel bad for the author though, must've been really painful if they went as far as coming here to ask for support...

Even you said it before, this really wasn't that great. Between all the time spent on the absolute millstone of the big sister, the nonexistent stakes (if a whole ass tengu can go to show, you can find a way to hide your ears), the incredibly slow build up, and the actual romance being kind of shallow, it was impressive it made it as far as it did. Compare to something like LOVE BULLET, a series that originally floundered by was successfully revived by the EN community, and you see why the people were more receptive to making that live. Originality, clean action, clear progression, not having a terrible antagonist. We are in a clear anime/manga bubble, but it is clear there are ways even smaller series can rise to the top.

Doesn't help he got completely mogged by Ogami's Not-So Everyday Life...

All that said, damn this was cute. Hope the author comes back swinging on his next project.

Well, it was a valiant effort everyone. It's sad to see this series come to an end as suddenly as it is, but at the very least we tried. And on a positive note Mr. Author did an amazing job working with the time he had left to bring the story to a mostly fulfilling end. I almost wish there was a way to crowd fund some sort of continuation, or at the very least an epilogue.

It was a good manga bud sadly the industry don't like that.... I am a little dissatisfied of the ending but it isn't his fault... the manga failed because of the trend manga. If it could have a reboot I would like to see it
