I liked it and the ending was pretty satisfying all things considered. It has the Suggestive tag but probably should have leaned more heavily towards erotic. This type of story is ripe for VN adaptation, if it were sexier.

I loved this series. What a pity that it ended so early. The chapters were drawn incredibly, and the characters were all very likeable and charismatic. I wish it got published for a longer period. Thank you, both the author for making it, and the translators for bringing it to us.

Thanks for the TL. Shame it had to end so early. I remember not all that long ago these sort of amateurish but unique stories could get a full run. The modern manga industry simply doesn't want that kind anymore and that really sucks. I look forward to the artists future works, his art is really good.

Art was great and the story was decent - though I did fucking hate the sister when she was first introduced. Axe-kun claims another.

Another tragic axe, it was a nice and fluffy romcom, the annoying male side characters and kind of uncomfy fanservice of kawaru at times held it back for me somewhat, but it was still a nice manga, 8/10

the biggest tragedy was the loss of maid mochizuki and more moments between maid mochizuki and kawaru💔💔

I really have to express how annoying the male NPC characters were(haino, and those 3 classmates) they were gross and unfunny, the later on in the story and they completely disappeared, the better this manga got, when it just focused on the main characters, and I actually liked the other characters(nishida, azuma, nee san, nego the parents, nana) and then also sadly mitsumata, the crow girl who we didn't get more of, mochizuki's mama also has a really cute design.

seriously the art and character design is incredible, and the way these characters are set up it seems there was more to be planned, truly this was a tragic axe..

Ah the axe... well better than dragging the "monster girl gotta control herself" trope and under using the rabbit (I mean guy could kick off a head clean off a body if he went feral too which we only got a glimpse). At least it was kinda short and sweet... :aquadrink:

as short as it was, i had a great deal of fun watching it, maybe the author could continue it spiritually by making a similar story in the same universe (like the 3000yo lonely dragon author)

... well. I binged this over about two days. But yknow what? Super enjoyed it. The supporting characters developed and became more likeable, the art was awesome, the main couple was cute... Ah well. I'll buy all three copies next paycheck.

Wow they actually axed this, and because of it, this just ends like this, He actually loses His powers and somehow She can control Hers, such an unsatisfying end, but they did what they can since its axed

Author-san, if you are reading this, please know that I enjoyed this manga and I'm sad it got cancelled. I appreciate that you wrote a heartwarming final chapter and did the best you could with what little you had to work with. Despite what some critics will say, I think your writing is not bad, especially given the constraints placed on you. I hope your next work has a chance to be written without the constraints of axe-kun.

In the meantime, you should open a fantia or fanbox or something like that. I would be happy to support you monetarily through those means. Purchasing manga from overseas is difficult, and when I visited Japan, I tried to find Garuru Girl on store shelves but couldn't... so I might not be able to help you get sales numbers, but at least I can help you pay the bills through fantia or fanbox. I am following your pixiv page, awaiting an announcement there.

Thank you again for your hard work.

P.S. I think the readers who criticized the way you wrote the older sister character are out of touch with reality. She acted completely believably for an overprotective teenage older sister with trauma about a past relationship. I hope my words vindicate you in some way.

Axe-kun got another victim, it is sad cause I was actually looking forward to the development of the story and its characters, and despite the this story's flaws I enjoyed it quite a lot and the art is very beautiful, I also liked the use of the transformation to push a more unique plot, the ending while rushed I can't really Author-san for, in fact I am quite amazed with how well it fits given the brutality of Axe-kun.

What annoys and saddens me more is that a story such as this get axed while others like rent-no-development get anime adaptations (and yes it has 4 seasons now smh).
Thanks a lot for the TL and Author-san, if you're reading this, thanks a lot for the story it might have been short but it was very enjoyable :hearts:

This is, for what is worth, the first manga I saw since chapter 1 till end, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here despite the obvious flaws (which I blame the axe for). Thank you author for writing this until now and thank you TOOR for the translation❤️

I was listening to epic music while reading this chapter, and it definitely gives it a whole special vibe.
