Bought a digital copy also, I hope this will get more volumes and doesn't get dropped! I hadn't ever bought anything from book-walker before, but It was easy to register and pay with paypal on their website. I couldn't manage to get Amazon digital to work outside of Japan. Really enjoying this manga. I've seen many of the tropes before, but it feels like a fun spin with some of its own ideas.

Well... hope it's not too late to buy in support. It's cute and the conflict is rising fast, it's pretty interesting. Though I wonder if it's part the mangaka thinking he's screwed and pushing stuff along...

The beginning was kinda cringe for me, but after that everything was amazing. 10/10. Never thought I'd like a romance manga

So far, it’s been really fun and surprisingly cute — it feels genuinely interesting. I really like the visual style, the idea of the animal characters and the little bursts of action that make everything feel lively and unique. I also really appreciate how some characters are designed with so much personality — like his grandmother, who’s absolutely badass, super muscular, and full of life.
The series definitely has its own charm and a lot of potential.:glee:

That said, I have to vent about a few things. First, I’m seriously tired of the cliché of "weird stalker boys with annoying fanclubs" constantly showing up to create unnecessary drama. I really can’t stand stories where the girl is treated like a piece of meat, and every single chapter brings in a new group of people trying to get with her. Even early on, there’s already an older guy interested in her who’s never even said a word to her — it’s just awful...................
And then it gets worse — later, there are literal kids having perverted thoughts in another chapter, which is just uncomfortable to read. Plus, they keep calling the mc ugly or thigs like that even though he’s obviously in the top list of best-looking character in the entire series. It’s ridiculous.

And don’t even get me started on the main couple — they’ve made it painfully obvious like fifteen times that they love each other and would literally die for one another, yet they’re still stuck pretending they’re "just childhood friends." Do we really need fifty chapters of pointless stalling before they finally admit the obvious and kiss? The story could be so much deeper and better if they actually got together early on and their relationship grew naturally from there. Dragging it out like this just feels lazy and frustrating.

Re: Ch. 13 Shit it's canceled, isn't it? This chapter has huge wrapping things up vibes. The arc of him finding out how to become human and learning that she still likes him no matter what, would take about a volume.

Why the question? I just felt like making a comment. In general, I've read a few mangas here and there (and mostly a lot of manhua), but unfortunately, most of it was on two different websites that are currently down. So, I only recently started using Mangadex and created an account

As for my critiques... I've seen a lot of anime with those same issues, and I've encountered some mangas with the same problems too. It's definitely something that bothers me, and it's something I'll never get used to

A good example of what I'm talking about is Komi Can't Communicate. I couldn't stand reading/watching that mess. It's terrifying how the girl is treated like a piece of meat, and how they just brush off the stalker/kidnapper/crazy character who's obsessed with the protagonist like a joke

Well they could end the series in chapter 14 fr, just a happy end with both of them living together in their true form. Peak Fiction.

if you came here looking for something new, you are in the wrong place. I don't read a lot of romance because I don't like most stories that happen in our world as it is, without anything extraordinary (such as "towers", "gates" or some of those troupe). That also applies to stories that happen in the past too. But even if that leaves me with mostly shounen left to read, I can tell you that this is generic. Even the plot twists are super predictable and leave me like "Wow! Who could've guessed?" (besides the first plot twist with the FL's father, which caught me by surprise, but it was also cheap), HOWEVER, if you didn't come looking for something new, exciting or innovative, your probably in for a treat. The art is good (even more so for an isekai lover like me lol), the characters are... Ok, let's not focus on the generic. It's just a cute manga. Nothing new, but it's not bad. I found the 13 chapters that have been released so far to be really enjoyable. It's a solid 8.5/10. And it's better than reading "I was transferred to another world and instantly became so insanely powerful that there's literally no stakes. Oh, I also have a harem where every girl has a single personality trait and I look like the most generic japanese guy ever" for the Nth time.
Anyway, I would kiss the ML wearing a maid outfit until I passed out of dehydration, then I w-would... h-h-ho-hold... h-his h-hand >w< (I died of cringe, but worth it if you felt cringer than me)
