So far, it’s been really fun and surprisingly cute — it feels genuinely interesting. I really like the visual style, the idea of the animal characters and the little bursts of action that make everything feel lively and unique. I also really appreciate how some characters are designed with so much personality — like his grandmother, who’s absolutely badass, super muscular, and full of life.
The series definitely has its own charm and a lot of potential.
That said, I have to vent about a few things. First, I’m seriously tired of the cliché of "weird stalker boys with annoying fanclubs" constantly showing up to create unnecessary drama. I really can’t stand stories where the girl is treated like a piece of meat, and every single chapter brings in a new group of people trying to get with her. Even early on, there’s already an older guy interested in her who’s never even said a word to her — it’s just awful...................
And then it gets worse — later, there are literal kids having perverted thoughts in another chapter, which is just uncomfortable to read. Plus, they keep calling the mc ugly or thigs like that even though he’s obviously in the top list of best-looking character in the entire series. It’s ridiculous.
And don’t even get me started on the main couple — they’ve made it painfully obvious like fifteen times that they love each other and would literally die for one another, yet they’re still stuck pretending they’re "just childhood friends." Do we really need fifty chapters of pointless stalling before they finally admit the obvious and kiss? The story could be so much deeper and better if they actually got together early on and their relationship grew naturally from there. Dragging it out like this just feels lazy and frustrating.
