I haven't read the LN, but in Asian geopolitics, China and Japan don't get along because of territorial disputes, even long before the pandemic. If the JMSDF is the focus, then it's not likely China will have any foothold or stake in JMSDF's operations in the sequel. Maybe an antagonistic role, or a pain-in-the-posterior from the sidelines?I
I'm guessing they're gonna close the gate, then open it again since Lelei is already in our world.
Now that I think about it, I recently found out after this series ends, there is a spin-off about the Japanese Navy in the other world and was wondering how they get ships through a gate in the middle of a city (maybe the same way they got large planes through) but maybe they save Lelei, or China opens a gate and it's on the shore of Japan/China
Japan doesn't have or use nuclear weapons. They have a non-nuclear weapons policy, whether possession, production, or introduction. What is it really? Are they backing backing off from the field or are they regrouping for massive nuke attack?
