You can’t really trust anyone but yourself to educate yourself and find out the full story nowadays. I’m surprised Fox of all places seemed to get the Covington story right, if only to make fun of all the news outlets that got it wrong and had to either apologize, give insincere victim-blaming non-apologies, or stick with their fake stories rather than admit they were wrong...

This ain’t a black or white “Us vs Them” situation, yo. I didn’t vote for Trump, so let’s not make this about that. This is about media being stupid and biased in their need to demonize a guy and his supporters so badly, they jumped into action without checking the facts.

We simply compared Covington to what the JSDF’s getting from their fictional news outlet, because it’s pretty much almost shed in the same light. Let’s be mature here. You too, kindaguy.

This shit is hilarious, the manga portrays the military, politicians, and media exactly how they act in reality with the backdrop of a fantasy world instead of a foreign country, and then the commentors follow suit, as regular people do, and instantly start fighting each other. We defend or attack the manga's portrayal and it's accuracy exactly how people do when there's a questionable news report from a partisan source or when a politician or military group does something questionable or secretive. The author painted half the picture, and then the commentors filled out the rest. Art truly reflects reality.

Really hope the old man goes Rory on them.

Agree.

We have area designed for smokers and area for non-smokers. This is a place for manga and thing related. The politics infestation has no business poking in here in the first place. Any actions that intend to bring in political issues should be treated as a derail and intentional conflict starting. I rather we lose some views than to let them roam free.
