"Cosmetic surgery should be used as a tool to make your appearance closer to that of your true self" is such a good mindset. Of course, culture and exterior pressure can cause people to misunderstand what their true self is (anorexia, surgery addiction), but it's a good phrase to destigmatize elective surgeries that would otherwise be seen as vain or unneeded.

Also I really adore this manga's position of gay sex work as a place where young adult men can figure out where to go next. Not the only place to do it, or the best place, but a valid space to grow for a while.

Man, this is such solid advice. I like that it doesn't come from a place of like. "Nooo you're hot, you'll do fine!" but more like. That's a good self assessment, let's talk about the issue.

This manga continues to be really positive and open minded about several complex issues, in a way I 100% didn't expect going in. It's a surprisingly uplifting read all told, you can tell it comes from a genuine place.

@Doopington as a person who likes dicks and is about as smart as a potato, I'm sorry to disappoint you but it doesn't make you smarter. If anything I'm feeling dumber than back when I still thought I was straight
